Chronic Wasting Disease in Deer

  • Aired: 01/29/2017

  • Rating: NR
Even though there's no scientific evidence suggesting that humans can contract a human variant of CWD from consuming an infected deer, they shouldn't be consumed out of caution. CWD will be a concern moving forward and the DNR and farmers need to work together to help eradicate it. Everyone needs to agree that this is a serious threat to the future of deer and deer hunting to stop its spread.
