Found in southeast Minnesota, the two-headed fawn was stillborn and taxidermists Robert Utne and Jessica Brooks of Wild Images in Motion mounted the rare little deer. Prairie Sportsman recorded the delicate process and toured Robert’s studio, with its fascinating collection of wildlife. Chef Curt Anderson also makes an appearance, cooking up homemade bacon-wrapped goose meatballs.
The 2017 season is made possible by funding from the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund as recommended by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources, and by Ice Castle Fish Houses Manufacturing and Live Wide Open.
