Republican state senator wants an overhaul

In Gov. Phil Murphy’s State of the State address Tuesday, he called on lawmakers to remove outdated restrictions on breweries, distilleries and wineries. But he made no mention of the regulations for those sites that went into effect six months ago -- and which many opponents call “disastrous” and “destructive” for the industry.
