Learn about Mateo Mackbee and Erin Lucas' restaurant, Krewe, in St. Joseph. Mackbee serves farm-to-table Cajun dishes and Lucas makes pastries from their Flour & Flower bakery to reservation-only crowds with limited pandemic seating. They share the story of Mackbee’s mom, a civil rights activist, and use their restaurant, bakery and farm to promote diversity and teach about food.
