Tylar Larsen graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 2019 and is currently attending the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. Last summer he attended the Oscar Howe Summer Art Institute, an art camp for Native American students. There he met artist-in-residence Cannupa Hanska Luger.
