Clamato, a blend of clam and tomato juice.
Both take vodka, hot sauce, Worcestershire, and a salt-rimmed glass.
The drink was invented in the 1960s in Calgary, just 20 minutes away, and has since become Canada's unofficial national cocktail.
But at Big Sky Barbecue in Alberta, they're taking it over the top by stacking an entire meal on it because, yum.
So we're going to build a Barbecue King Caesar.
We'll put a nice sandwich on top Wait, what's in there?
Pulled pork.
So we got a pulled pork sandwich right on top there.
And what we'll do, we'll do brisket, another plate of brisket.
It just gets higher.
We'll do pork.
I can't believe how hungry I'm getting.
Right.
My mouth is juicy too.
- This is insane.
So we got pork ribs, we'll add our homemade sausage, it's jalapeño and cheddar.
- Oh my God, stop.
Chicken thigh.
Hogs spuds, just like a little baked potato wrapped in bacon.
Oh my God.
Yum.
And then we'll put a slice of our bacon.
Okay.
Another one.
One more bacon.
Whoa.
- And there you are.
That's our Barbecue King Caesar.
Barbecue King Caesar.
This is crazy.
So how do people go about it?
I have different sauces here.
This is gonna be our original barbecue sauce.
This is gonna be our root beer barbecue sauce.
This one's are backwoods, which is a little more spicy.
Hot mustard.
And then, this one's going to be just our hog wild.
This our house homemade sauce, but it is really spicy.
So I want to start with the bacon, but I'm going to have to eat my way.
Yeah, try it all.
That's our hogs spud.
Yeah?
I love eating with my hands so much.
You have to eat with your hands.
Its the most fun.
This is the jalapeño?
Jalapeño Cheddar.
It's a little sweet.
It is a little sweet.
Oh my God.
I love this so much.
Right off the bone.
Can I add a little hot sauce?
Be careful with that one.
That one's just really hot.
Super, crazy?
Let me try a little.
Try a little bit of it, yeah.
Some of our customers can't handle it.
It is really spicy.
You like it?
Oh my gosh I'm dying to bite into this.
So now we get to, it has a little Tobasco.
A little bit, nothing crazy.
But I feel like I need to do a little of this hot sauce.
You want to?
Yeah.
Give it a mix.
It's like savory, tangy.
Exactly.
Refreshing.
It's so delicious, it's so messy, it's so welcoming, it's... Yeah, let's go.
Oh, there it is, it's half a cow, half a pig, and a chicken, and a Caesar.
Incredible.
