About WHEELS
This show explores the interesting connection that people have with wheels by featuring interviews with enthusiasts from Ortonville, Tracy, Buffalo, Morris, Montevideo, Pennock, Madison and Watson. Funding for WHEELS comes from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Since the creation of the wheel around 3500 B.C., there have been steady improvements and uses for the wheel. Today, wheels are used in cars, trucks, airplanes, bicycles, trains, toys and many more devices.
WHEELS traveled to regional car shows, threshing bees, farm shows, museums and specialty shops in search of the stories featured in this new program.
